In the broadest sense parkour is a training method where development of body and mind is central. Ever since the creation of the discipline in the 90s in France is a motto very central to parkour, "Etre et Durer." We do not train to sit at home after several years of spectacular jumps with overworked knees and backs. We train for a functional and durable body. Like any sport, parkour knows risks. Through strength exercises and perfecting techniques at ground level traceurs protect themselves against the load on the body and the potential dangers in larger jumps. Furthermore we incorporate the philosophy from the Yamakasi and the idea of the Méthode Naturelle. This also means that there is no competition; the only competition is you, and yourself. Tracers as well as traceuses who want to express themselves doe to movement are just as welcome as those who want to focus on the art of movement. We also use the environment in our own personal creative way and try to find new challenges. Furthermore we want to show ourselves in a good way to the public and our motto is „Être fort pour être utile“ (Be strong to be useful).
