ADAPT stands for Art du Déplacement And Parkour Training. These levels are developed together with the founders of parkour. Therefore these levels from Parkour Generations are internationally accepted by traceurs and traceuses. The main focus of these exams is to pass on the spirit of parkour as well as the history. This means learning about the history and origin of parkour, the principles of movement, the spirit of parkour in practice and functional strength and conditioning. Other aspects which are tough are coaching skills, health & safety and the benefits of managed risk. Even so these qualifications ensure the passing on of the background, philosophy etc, this levels are manly required for coaching at Parkour Generations. This does not mean that they are not relevant and useful for correct parkour teaching.
