As in most sports and organizations, in Parkour it is possible to do exams and acquire certificates. In the following section information about different important certificates can be found. Some of these certificates can be obtained at or in collaboration with Wageningen Parkour or are required for assisting trainings.
The most popular certificates are probably the ADAPT levels from Parkour Generations in London which are world wide recognized. "ADAPT" stands for "Art de Duplacement And Parkour Training". During the preparation courses you learn a lot about Parkour and ADD like the history and origins of parkour. Next to that you learn about safeguarding kids and giving classes.

In collaboration with Parkour Disciplines in Zoetermeer it is possible to do obtain different certificates. Parkour Disciplines is one of the best parkour groups from the Netherlands and lead by Reggy Laatsch, one of the few in the Netherlands with the first ADAPT level. At Parkour Disciplines there are certificates that confirm that you can train on your own and others which allow to (assist a) coach at PD.

Next to that there are two exams from JUMP Freerun in the Netherlands. These exams are more about coaching (performance athletes) and the diplomas are legally legitimate in the Netherlands, but not necessary. It is also related to the Olympic games. For passing the exam some knowledge about the history and principles of parkour is required as well. There is some discussion about the relevance and correctness of these diplomas.
